Lighter than Light

Exhausted would not begin to describe the feeling that I have not been able to shake off for the past few months. It’s not the Rona, it’s not the BLM situation, it’s not my 60-70 hour work weeks; it’s something much deeper.

The last article I wrote was about people wearing masks, not actual masks that you see people wearing now to protect themselves from this virus, but theoretical masks that we place on each other so that we are not shocked by the real us. It was called “The Illusions of Humanity”...The article was written back in January of 2015...I re-read that article recently, and could not ignore the feeling that what I wrote seems to have turned into a literal reality. Is it a coincidence that it was to be the last article I wrote until today? Probably just a coincidence….

Speaking of masks, not the literal one, but the one that you wear at work to try to please everyone, the one you put on others to protect yourself from their true face; I have placed a thick mask on my face, and have not taken it off for a while now, until today, hence why I am writing this, I need the mask to come off, even if it is only for a moment.

I am currently living in an area of the US that is known to be very much right leaning. The thing about it is, I agree with a lot of what the right winged followers believe, but I also believe in much of what the left winged followers believe, confusing? Not really, it’s called being a Libra, the ability to see both sides, always. I think it also helps that I get to hear what people really think, from both sides, because I have the abilities of a chameleon, in terms of my color, culture, the way I speak, I seem to have this ability to easily fit in with anyone; right, left, black, white, brown, asian...it does not matter, I will find a way to fit right in, and open you up.... Either way, that does not matter; the point I am going to make has to do with the fact that the left and the right are extremely similar in many ways...Right wingers think that the government should not have the power to control our lives, to dictate how we can earn money, or how we can grow our own food, etc...guess what, A LOT of left winged folks support that same belief! It’s just crazy that the two sides seem to be completely blind to their similarities, and concentrate only on their differences! Actually, it’s not crazy at all, it is expected...why? Because the media forces the differences into their minds on a constant basis, day in and day out. The media has become SO polarized that it makes me laugh whenever I watch either sides - whether it be CNN or Fox News, or MSNBC...they are literally pinning folks against each other purposely...to what end? I have a pretty good guess on that, and can go into detail about when, where, how and why, but that would be a MUCH longer article, and I want to keep this as short as possible so as to not lose your attention...

I am taking my mask off, and I am asking all of you, globally, to see what is really happening here. I have said for many years now that an awakening is happening, and that an evolution of mass consciousness is in progress. Just read some of my articles on my woken soul blog and you will see that I’ve been preaching this for a long time now. It seems to have all started in or around the early 2000’s, when more and more regular blue collar folks were waking up to the reality that they were capable of so much more than simply being a part of a giant machine for the benefit of the 1%. Now, even though the quickening of events started about a decade ago, the events that are currently unfolding are meant to stop the progress of our mass evolution of consciousness. The events that are unfolding are meant to instill fear and separation - rather than love and unity. Though, it seems to have also perpetuated an opposite outcome, where people are waking up to so many different conspiracies that are now more believable. The thing is, those who are trying so damn hard to stop the progress do not realize that this evolution is inevitable, and the more they try to throw monkey wrenches into it, the stronger the process becomes. Yes, it is exhausting, and it’s really really irritating for people like me, but it’s okay, because we know that we will prevail, and that our world will change forever, for the better...

Throw your tantrum, that’s alright, we will rub you on your back and tell you everything will be okay. Because it will be okay, no matter how many tantrums you throw, no matter how many wrenches you launch into the gears of progress, we will continue to love each other and lift each other up.

No matter how hard you try to separate us, we will find ways to communicate, and we will remind one another of the fact that this evolution of consciousness takes patience and perseverance. Your attempts are futile.

As you have noticed, more and more people are taking a stance against the status quo, they are no longer bowing down to a system that oppresses and demoralizes their souls. We’re back on the ladder of spirituality, and we’ll continue to climb, rung by rung, right to the top, to where we will all become Lighter than Light….

The Illusions of Humanity

Every day that passes, I realize that my words are wasted on so many people. Not wasted in the sense that they are not worth my words, but wasted in the sense that my words will never be sufficient enough for people to truly feel what I am feeling, or to truly see the genuine desire for peace in my heart. Many of us are constantly misunderstood because of this fact, because the words created by men are not sufficient to express the deep feelings and senses that we experience in every moment.

I feel that because there are so many damaged people, myself included, trust of someone’s words is fleeting. You can say you trust someone, though saying it is really not enough. Trust is something a person can have towards another person, and towards themselves, only if the person is completely and deeply vulnerable. I have not met anyone who is truly and deeply vulnerable with themselves. It seems that they think they are, but when situations arise that can be easily solved by being truly honest and trusting of your own self, there is a total breakdown, and the reality of a situation is covered up. We create these illusions of why things are a certain way, why people are a certain way. We say other people wear masks, we say we wear masks, and this is only half of the truth; we also put masks on other people because we are afraid to see them for who they truly are. Even if the people we force masks on are ripping their masks off, we tend to say “no no, please put your mask back on, I like you better that way”.

I do not want you to think that I am saying that this behavior is bad or wrong, I truly just want to point it out, and possibly come to some sort of realization of why or what this all is. Obviously, this behavior seems to have no real positive effects.

This trust issue, this issue of not being able to see through the trillions of illusions that we create, is a problem on a macro and micro level. There is no real honesty without a complete destruction of the illusions we have created. We live in a world with BILLIONS of people, which means we live in a world with BILLIONS of  egos. These egos are constantly clashing and crashing into each other, creating conflicts and building more illusions to protect themselves from the sometimes harsh realities of our world. There are so many thoughts and ideals that simply do not mesh and that compete with each other. We live in a world full of damaged people who desperately need to trust and be trusted. We live in a world full of scared, weak, desensitized and disillusioned people. This is obvious, and we can see this clearly by simply observing how people treat one another, how they look at one another, how they speak to one another. You can also see this in extreme action by watching the news, or watching hollywood movies that seem to be filled with more and more propaganda as the years pass. This rise of propaganda in the media is used on the masses as ideological and commercial warfare. This warfare continues to poison the billions of minds on the planet, deepening the illusions that have already been created from our direct experiences and in turn creating a divide that seems so real. This propaganda is also getting worse in religions such as Islam, Christianity and Judaism. We see that these religions tend to preach two opposite sets of ideals. One that promotes peace and unity, and another that promotes war and division. This is proof that these religions have been infiltrated and is being used as a major tool to control and mold the illusions of the masses.

Let me change the word from illusion to insecurity, since in my mind, these two words can describe one another. On my journey thus far, I have not met anyone personally who did not have any insecurities whatsoever. I had a conversation with my wife about this, I was curious to know what she thought about it, and she came to the same conclusion. We then came to the conclusion that the only people that are out there that possibly have little to no insecurities are the spiritual teachers that we hear about, the men and women who literally dedicate their lives to self growth and to the seeking of universal truths; let us call these people the seekers. The seekers have become hyper aware of their reactions and to their conditioning and have found ways to destroy their illusion through diligent observation of themselves and their environments. This practice seems to have cured them of the human illness of an overactive ego and in turn has allowed them to curb their insecurity, and in some cases completely accept things as they are. The seekers have gotten to a point where the illusions are no longer necessary, because they are no longer afraid of what is really there to see. I do not think that the seeker gets to this point easily, nor do I think that once at that point it gets easier. In my opinion, and from what I feel about all this, I believe that it probably gets much more difficult at that exact point where your illusions are shattered, when you have decided and accepted to take off your own mask and the mask of everyone else you encounter. I am sure that once this is destroyed, there are many temptations to build the illusion right back up. I can say this with confidence because I was close, I do not know how close, but I know I was in the vicinity.

I felt a shattering of my illusion when I was young, about 14 years of age. I did not care for the things that the others around me cared so much for. I did not get attached to the material things that my friends back then seemed to obsess over. I did not want to get distracted, and there were moments of complete clarity; this is when I would write. I cannot say that these moments lasted long, nor can I say that I controlled when they came and went, but I know they were there, I know that I was constantly in and out of the illusion.

There is one specific memory from my childhood that sticks out for me, a memory that I wish to share with you. I would like to share this memory because I believe it will give you an idea of where my mind has been for most of my life and will hopefully give you a better understanding of where the thought process behind this article comes from.
My parents sent my brother and I to a religious summer camp when I was around 7 years old. I did not grow up in a religious household and neither of us knew much about Islam at that point, nor could we even read Arabic (we still can’t, we never learned), but I think my parents wanted us to experience a little bit of that world. To be honest, most of the memory of that camp is gone, I do not remember much. I do remember not wanting to be there, and feeling trapped. I also remember feeling as though something was there with me, protecting me from these other men who seemed so bent on conditioning me into a belief in something I did not understand. I remember getting a very bad headache a few days after we arrived at the camp (I used to get lots of them, and still do until today), and the men at the camp allowed me to go to my bunk earlier than the other campers to rest my head in a dark room. I layed in the bunk and tried to fall asleep, at the moment where I started to feel like it was hopeless, a light appeared in the room. At first, I thought someone hit the light switch, but I remember looking up at the light fixture and seeing that it was still shut off. With this light appeared a man with a beard wearing a white robe. I remember looking down at his feet and thinking “where are his shoes?”. The man was literally surrounded by light, and he seemed to glow. I remember thinking that his skin was glowing, that his skin looked so soft and healthy. He came to me, and lifted me out of bed. He held me in his arms, with my head resting on his shoulder. I remember that I loved how he smelt, I cannot describe the smell but it was like nothing my senses have ever experienced before and not again until 2 years ago (this experience, and the one I had two years ago were very similar in feeling but not in sight). He held me, that is all he did. I felt so comforted, more than I had ever felt before. He did not say anything, he did not rub my back or my head, but a few moments passed, and my headache was completely gone. He laid me back down in the bunk, and he was gone as quickly as he had appeared. The room was dark again, and I felt better than I had since I arrived at the camp a few days earlier.

This was an experience that seems to have shaped much of my life. I understood that this presence was not an actual human being that came into the room, but rather something from somewhere else. Something that was always there, watching over me, protecting me. I knew that this was not necessarily a man with a beard, and that I was seeing what it thought I wanted to see. I knew that this energy, this power, would guide me for the rest of my journey in this life. I did not make any religious connections, nor did I try to name my vision or feelings. I just knew that everything was going to fall into place. The rest of the time at the camp is a blur. I do remember winning an award for being able to memorize some verses from the Quran. I do not remember even learning them in the first place, but I still have them memorized to this day.

Now, over 20 years later, I could say that I have more clarity, but I also have heavier illusions. Meaning, my clarity is deep, but my illusions are many and hard to cut through. When I am finally able to drop it all, I see things as they are, and I feel a deep love and sorrow at the same time. It is very difficult to describe in words. Some people say that this clarity is called enlightenment, and maybe that is what it is, but I have also heard people say that once you reach this point it is a pure and solid feeling of love, acceptance and understanding. I disagree. That is still an illusion. There is darkness behind the illusion, as much as there is light, for without one, there would be no other. There is sorrow behind the illusion, just as there is love, for again, without one, how would we feel the other? The problem with our illusion is that it places a feeling like sorrow in a negative spectrum and associates it with density. The problem with our illusion is that we believe that darkness always carries negativity. I have heard many say that what we resist persists, and this is so true for our illusions of darkness and negativity. It is fear that puts the darkness in this dense place. It is our egos that create an illusion because we are too scared to face the reality of our World.

The veil is lifting, sometimes it drops down a little, and then is lifted a little higher, but it is lifting more than it has ever before on this planet. Many are clinging on to their illusions, holding on and creating heavier and heavier masks, ones that they think will protect them from their fears. So many are feeding their egos so much that they believe that they are doing the opposite, the illusions are very strong at this time in our existence, hence the suicides and addictions that are on the rise, hence the rising of conflicts across the globe and the tension that everyone seems to be feeling..

It is time for many of us to break free from the ones that refuse to remove their masks and in turn create heavier ones for us to wear. The ones who can truly see, and feel, need to break free so that they can continuously grow, and so that the veil can continuously lift steadily. For if you get stuck in this illusion, there will come a time, sooner than you may think, where your illusion will become a hell that you have created...and that is when you will realize how important it was for you to do the work...to seek...

We are seekers, and we will finally find the darkness and the light that exist behind the illusions.

Break the Machine

13 years ago today, the twin towers were brought down and many innocent lives were lost. 13 years ago today, the masses of the world were brought to their knees by the events that they all saw unfold before our eyes. Mass consciousness and the levels of vibration were reduced, lowered, and negatively manipulated, 13 years ago today...

On a day like today, people must read, read, read... Research and try to over-stand the concept of false flag operations. Look for evidence, and logically deduce to come to a realistic conclusion. Ask yourself questions, questions that may at first seem out of this world.

I suggest that you start your journey by looking up Edward Bernays, the father of propaganda...read his essay called "The Engineering of Consent". Google is your friend in this case.

Edward Bernays believed that society deserved to be controlled, for the masses could not control themselves sufficiently. He believed that decision could not truly be reached by a democratic vote, but by the power of suggestion, leading masses to decide based on what the “rulers” thought was best.

Do you agree with his theory? Do you agree that you and your family need to be controlled by subliminal messages, by propaganda, by the power of suggestion? Do you agree that making decisions on your own, without being manipulated would not benefit you or your family? If you do agree, then you do not have any faith in yourself or in the people around you, and you are fully controlled by the machine. You are lost and I pray that you can somehow release yourself from the cogs and gears of manipulation.

If you disagree with his theory, then continue reading.

“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. ...We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized. Vast numbers of human beings must cooperate in this manner if they are to live together as a smoothly functioning society. ...In almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons...who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind.” ― Edward L. Bernays, Propaganda

You must Know that the world is being steered into directions that do not benefit the common human being. The world is being steered for reasons that I cannot explain. What I can explain is that the direction we are led to take is a direction that is quickly leading to our complete control and in turn the destruction of free will and of the conscious evolution of the masses.

I do not know why the “controllers” hate the masses so much. I do not know why they believe that they have a right of control over the masses. It may just be a perverse and ancient bloodline of kings and queens, ones who interbred and over time spread across the globe into little pockets of power hungry villains.

It may just be that the “controllers” truly believe that what they do is for the greater good. Maybe they think along the lines of depopulation for the safety of the planet and for the longevity of their species. Maybe they believe that what they do and what they try to accomplish is honorable.
Maybe it is a combination of the above.

The point is this, the tools that are used to control your minds and to direct your actions are visible. They are not invisible, they are not fantasy. The tools used are described in depth by ones who passed, such as Aldous Huxley (Google it) and Edward Bernays.

It is highly unlikely that the world will become a more peaceful and loving place while these “controllers” and their tools are still being used. It is impossible for the world to become a better place unless masses of people realize that the system has been built on lies, and on rewarding injustice, greed, lust, revenge and other deadly sins.

It is clear that material possession has become the MOST important aspect of all human life. Whether it be land or other possessions, people wage war, and act violently in order to gain the things that the machine makes them believe they need to be happy.

Another tool used is religion. I do not believe religion is evil nor do I believe that religion itself was created as a tool by the “controllers”. What I do know is that religion may have started pure, but has been used for centuries to control. In other words, they have found ways to incorporate it into the propaganda machine that controls the masses. Anything that pushes you to believe that you are separate from others is a tool used by the “controllers”.

Like I have said before, we cannot live on an island of happiness surrounded by an ocean of misery. The suicides of many successful humans over the years has shown and proven this fact to you. Possessions will NOT make you happy, and is NOT the purpose of your lives. Break the propaganda machine.

The system has been built by kings and queens; the system controls the peasants and murders the ones who seek justice and equality for all sentient beings. When the tools and machines used to control the peasants start to fail, a shocking false flag operation is performed in order to shock the masses back into submissiveness.

When the masses are sufficiently shocked, and once their vibrations are lowered to proper levels, the tools and machines can again function as they have been for centuries.

Rinse and repeat...

Creations Lament - Feel It

This morning, I woke up sad, hurt, and hopeless. I could not pin point where those feelings were coming from, nor could I remember having any negative dreams. I thought maybe that the stresses of life in general were just getting to me. I attempted to ignore and push the feelings aside. I got on with my day.

I cleaned the house, I took a shower, I ate breakfast, I took care of some business, and I sat down in my living room. I put a cooking show on in hopes that it would keep me busy and possibly inspire me to be creative. I sat there, staring at the TV, or rather through it. I did not hear anything that the cooks were saying, nor did I want to hear anything.

I was there, in front of the television, not really thinking, sort of in a trance...All of a sudden, I felt this intense wave of sadness and I started to tear up. This is not like me at all, anyone that knows me knows that I have a hard time letting myself break down in tears.

My heart felt like it was breaking and my mind felt so heavy. I did not attempt to hold back the tears. I then decided that more than ever I really needed to listen to my heart. It told me to do what I have been stopping myself from freely doing for a while now; I opened my RT news app and started to read the headlines.

I already know what’s happening around the globe as I see posts on social networks and random news seems to always find its way into my day... but I’ve been avoiding thinking about the state of the world, putting it out of my mind as much as possible...I read, one article, two, three and I stopped.

Finally it was clear to me. I didn't wake up sad, hurt and hopeless because of anything that was directly happening in my life. I’m not unhappy with my life; I’m not depressed about anything directly related to me. Of course I have stresses in my own life and there are problems that I deal with on a regular basis, but I have never been one to become depressed about my situation. I always strive on, positively, knowing that there is a solution to every problem, and that every stress in my life is an opportunity for growth.

Like clouds dissipating and allowing the sun to finally shine through, it was clear to me...the feelings of sadness and sorrow are coming from deep within yet from far out there...I am feeling the pain of the world, and today, for some reason, it is overwhelmingly strong...

This is why I share this with all of you, this is why I write...to let these feelings flow...to maybe reach out to someone who understands, or to show someone what many of us who feel connected deal with...

I can no longer pretend that I am not bothered by the injustice and the inhumane way people treat each other in this world. I can no longer wear the masks of indifference. I am not that person, I am not ignorant to the world’s problems nor can I pretend to not be upset with humanity. I am upset, sad, depressed and disappointed with my entire species. I have a hard time loving everyone I meet. I have a hard time accepting how people see the world and how people see others.

I have a really tough time, especially lately, accepting other people’s indifference and ignorance. I try my best to bite my tongue, I try my best to be understanding and patient, I try to remind myself that everyone is where they are for a reason, I try not to judge.  But this is becoming more and more difficult for me, and it is affecting who I am, negatively...

Lately, it seems the universe is throwing so many tests my way in the form of people’s opinions and peoples behaviors towards me, and today, I feel as though I am failing every single one of these tests.

I am not perfect and I have made so many mistakes, and continue to make mistakes. I do not have a perfect view of the world, nor do I believe I am better than anyone else out there. My beliefs change and evolve. I continuously grow and transform. But there is something that I know about myself, something concrete and unchanging...

I am a good person, my heart is humble and my intentions are pure and honorable. I know that I want justice and peace for every part of creation. I know that I am open-minded and that I am willing to learn and to broaden my horizons. I know that I have empathy and real compassion...and I know that my compassion is not limited to one group of people, or even to one group of living things.

I cannot comprehend how people can be so indifferent towards life, all of life...
I do not understand why people are indifferent towards the state of the world and the chaos that exists.
I cannot comprehend why so many humans ignore the serious and urgent need for change.
I cannot understand why some people believe their lives are worth more than a person living in another country.

Being Canadian, American, German, Brazilian, etc, does not make you a better person. Your nationality does not make you good or bad. You are not a good guy because you are American, British, French or Canadian, and you are not a bad guy because you are Russian, Iranian, Pakistani or Afghani. Do you understand my point?

Hollywood....ugh....

I started consciously feeling this way at about 12 years old. I could remember how I felt after seeing the news and learning about history in school. After learning about the Native Americans and how North America became the way it is today. I could remember feeling hurt and sad for all the murder that took place and continues to take place.

I could remember learning about Nazi Germany and feeling a deep regret and sympathy in my soul.
I could remember watching movies about American history, about slaves and racist societies, about the American civil war, and feeling connected to the hurt.

Every time I learned about injustice, about genocide, about inequality, it was almost as if I was directly related to the victims.

To the Jews that have been murdered, tortured and the ones who suffered in the concentration camps.

To the Africans that were shipped like cattle to the United States, who were taken away from their lives, to serve as slaves.

To the Native Americans that had their cultures, their way of life and their lives destroyed.

To the countless women that have been treated like lesser beings throughout history, and who continue to fight the greatest war ever fought against inequality.

To the Palestinians who are kicked out of their homes, off their farms, who are tortured and murdered every day for the past 70 years.

To the millions of creatures who are mistreated, tortured and mutilated because we think they exist for our pleasure and consumption.

To the countless floras that are chopped up, stepped on, and destroyed to build more condos, business, and factories that pollute and destroy the environment.

To the massive pieces of land ripped up for profit and for human over- consumption...so that we can fill our gas tanks, launch our rockets, and burn, burn, burn....

On, and on and on....

ALL of these victims are a part of my family.

How can I not feel the sorrow? How can I not feel the pain and the loss? I am not a direct victim, but a part of me feels everything that these victims feel and have felt...and it’s painful...and I pray that it stops...centuries have passed, and not much has changed.

More compassion is needed, real compassion...not the bullshit that is sold to you by some pompous asshole in your houses of worship.

How can you, yes you, sit there and tell me that your life is more important than the lives out there.

How can you seriously defend your illusion? How can you justify that your way of life, or any other life, is more important than that of a Palestinian life, or than that of a tree in the Amazon?

How can you truly believe and feel that your patriotism serves you or this world in a positive way? Did patriotism serve the world or make it a better place in Nazi Germany? What about Mao's China, Pol Pot's Cambodia, Stalin's Soviet Union, Amin's  Uganda, etc?

How can you truly convince yourself that your flag defines your humanity?
How can you label yourself as more important? How can you say that your nation deserves more than any other?

Wake up from your self-loathing, arrogant, egotistical, self righteous ways of thinking....
You are not more important than any other living or even non living thing on this planet. No part of creation in the entire expanding universe is less important than you are.

Your life is not more significant than the spider you just crushed, nor are you better than the animal you just consumed.

I’m not saying you should look down on yourself, I’m not saying you should never kill a spider and never eat any animal...What I am saying is that your ungrateful behavior adds more chaos to the world....and leads to over-consumption and desensitization.

So, after holding my tongue for so long, I need to let this out....I say this to all the so called religious people, spiritual people, and to all the beings that are constantly acting in opposition to the teachings of compassion and love. I say this to you, and you, and you - “You say that you are kind and that you deserve a good life, yet you treat others as if they are lower than you.  You say that you are righteous yet you use others to serve your own needs and wants, without ever thinking about their needs and wants. You put on a facade of being this saintly and grown human, you think you know better, yet you show no sign of that being. You have no compassion towards the feelings of others and you pick and choose, out of your own convenience and self delusion which person deserves and does not deserve your compassion...Being compassionate is not limited, it is unlimited...therefore your compassion is not true, it is very false...I see through you, and it won’t be long before your illusion is shattered”

FEEL, that is where it starts. See them as you see yourself, without borders, or flags, or national anthems. Release all pride and patriotism. Release your false notion of belonging to a limited tribe....Know that you could be them, rather, you ARE them.

Know that every victim on this planet is connected to you and that everything that is done to them will eventually hurt you.

Know that your way of life is not more important than that of any other form of life on this planet.

Feel the sorrow of others as if it were your own.

Welcome the rest of creation into your heart, and know that your family is unlimited...

Only then will we be able to truly have peace and healing everywhere and for everyone.

With frustration...

Let's Play

Let's PLAY this game. Lets dance and spin and pretend we know what we are doing. Lets all pretend that we know who we are, and where we are going. Let's act as if who we are is stable and solid.

FUCK IT!!!
Let's not..

Admit it, you have no clue what you are.

You have no idea why you are here.

You have no direction and your dance is just an act, you're spinning, yes...but you are spinning with a false sense of control!

Why do you care?! Spin, spin, spin, spin...admit that you are playing a game, a game that has no foreseeable end….death...?

Admit that your path is twisted.

Admit that you are not solid.

You are not stable.

You are not in control!

You are nothing more than a light.

A light that bends, travels, spins, bounces, reflects, falls, fades, disappears...admit it...

You have no idea what you really are.

Do not be alarmed, this is nothing new..species have been in this predicament for ages...less than 1% ever knew who they really were.

Some pretended so well that they had others believe that they were actually something other than a fading star..a dying star...a black hole…

We are stars...but not in the sense of greatness...greatness is just a word, a false state of mind….you are not great, you are empty…just a light...greatness is ego.

Ego is not who you are, light is not ego...

Stars fade, stars die, low density stars become black holes...empty...believe it, feel it, know it, and live it...

You are a dying star, a 3D star, slowly turning into a black hole….becoming empty, becoming the black hole…

This is enlightenment...to become the dying star, to finally realize that this whole life is nothing more than a cycle of death and birth….not birth and death, but the other way around..you die before you are born..you are something before you become nothing...

Emptiness is the goal, not wholeness as they lead you to believe...wholeness is an illusion, there is no wholeness...

Lose yourself...lose yourself and then you will REALLY dance...lose yourself and then you will REALLY spin...out of control..spin out of control…..that is the point...to become nothing...to turn into the nothingness...into the zero, into the sacred and empty space...

Stop pretending....and let's REALLY play :)

Fighting Ignorance and Hate by Spreading Truth - Saudi Islamic Laws

Recently, there have been many social media posts and news articles relating to Saudi Arabia and its backwards treatment of women. I have been reading many posts about how women in Saudi Arabia are now fighting for their right to drive a vehicle.

I have known about this backwards and illogical law for a while now. These laws and regulations that I hear about strike me in a very deep way, mainly because of my roots and upbringing. I was born Muslim, and raised in a family that believes in the religion. My parents are what you can call modern Muslims, not extreme like the Muslims you may hear about often in mainstream news.

I remember as a teenager hearing about these crazy laws. I realized that there was a huge misconception when it came to Muslims and Islam in general after participating in a project that our Moral Education teacher in 9th grade assigned to our class. Each student was assigned a world religion and had to create a 1 hour oral presentation based on their research of that religion. It was a good way to expose the students to the different belief systems around the globe.

Unfortunately, the student that was assigned Islam found his information mostly from biased news articles and Islamaphobic references.  I remember him basically explaining that Islam was a religion where the women were beaten by their husbands regularly, where women were not respected and where God was a punisher who encouraged violence and hate against everyone that was not of the Islamic faith. I sat there in awe, shocked by the misinformation being spewed from this 9th graders mouth. What bugged me even more was the fact that the teacher sat there saying nothing, and once the presentation was done, there was a round of applause, and the teacher joined in! When it was time for questions, my hand shot up, and that was it, for the first time in my young life, I stood up for a religion that I was not truly following and that I was not passionate about, only because I knew the truth and felt an urge to fix the potential damage from the misinformation provided.

I asked the student where his references were from and he answered that they were mostly from news articles about incidences in Saudi Arabia and some from Pakistan. I then asked if he realized that Muslims lived all over the globe, that there were Muslims in China, Indonesia, and even here, in North America. He of course, at the risk of looking like he didn’t do his research, answered that he was well aware. I then explained to him and to the classroom, while looking at the teacher, that I was born and raised in the Islamic religion, and that I whole heartedly disagreed with his research. I explained that Islam was a religion where respecting a woman was as important as worshipping Allah. I explained that the disrespect and the mistreatment of women in Islam was not rooted in the religion but actually rooted in the cultures that adopted Islam as their belief systems. I was able to get the classroom to open their minds and to see that the presentation had been based on biased information. The teacher applauded my efforts at straightening things out, and decided that I should create an additional presentation based on Islam for extra marks. I learned two things that day, 1. Speaking  your truth is extremely important and 2. Having a big mouth lands you extra work....

I know where my passion stems from, and it has nothing to do with a specific belief system or a religion. My passion is for truth, peace, justice and acceptance. My passion is to create ties between people and destroy any walls that are built by misinformation and fear. My passion is to spread truth, to open minds and to broaden my own horizons and others. My passion is to be just, to be truthful, to be a voice that speaks up when fear is being spread. My passion is to defend myself and others when necessary. I will always find ways to spread truth, I will always find ways to spread acceptance and to build bridges. I have stood up for every faith, from Hinduism, to Islam to Christianity, whenever I hear fear  and misinformation being spread, regardless of what faith or culture is aimed at, I voice the truth that I have learned by knowing people from these faiths and cultures,  and in turn, some minds become more open.

That was a 9th grade classroom of about 20 students. My voice was enough to fight the misinformation. Now, we have misinformation spreading like wildfire across the world through mainstream media and social networking. My wife is passionate about women’s rights and the war for gender equality, and so am I. She posted some news about the fight in Saudi Arabia for women’s driving rights, I know that my wife is open minded and that she is not ignorant to think that these backwards laws in Saudi Arabia are a reflection of Islam and the Muslim people, but it made me think, and brought back memories from that 9th grade classroom. I wondered, if people all over the globe were sitting there thinking that these retarded laws were founded by Islam. I wondered if the women around the world were relating the Saudi Arabian Wahhabi terrorists to the religion itself, and I could not help but come to the conclusion that there was not enough information out there to argue that these laws and that the Wahhabi extremists were not the norm for Islam.  It occurred to me, again, that there is so much misinformation being spread and that I need to voice the truth.

The truth is this:
Saudi Arabia has been hijacked by a group of extremists called the Wahhabi's. The Wahhabi's basically took over Mecca (Islams Holiest city) and created an ultra conservative and perverse version of the Islam that the prophet Mohammed originally brought forth. Many of these perversions are based on an extreme patriarchal social system that treats women like lower life forms and has no respect for basic human rights. People must understand that the way women are treated in Saudi Arabia is not in any way shape or form reflective or representing the beliefs of Islam.  Saudi Arabia is one of those countries that need a major revolt, a major shift in power. Saudi Arabia has only been safe because of its ties with the west and relationships with gigantic corporations. If it wasn't for those ties and relationships, Saudi Arabia and the Wahhabi's would have been chased into the desert and left to die long ago....for more information on the subject, there is a great book called 'The Great Theft: Wrestling Islam from the Extremist' by Khaled M. Abou El Fadl.
.
So, the next time you see news or posts about how badly women are treated over in Saudi Arabia, please, do not immediately think “ugh, Muslims are all crazy bastards, disgusting people who do not know how to treat women or human life in general”, think instead “those damn Wahhabi's and their Saudi system, I hope and pray that the people will be able to finally fight them out of power, I hope that the west will finally stop supporting them and their system, power to the PEOPLE in Saudi Arabia”. Power to the people...remember, a person is not defined by what they wear or by what religion they follow, you cannot define a human being by labeling them...remember that we still have a long long way to go before we get to where we need to be...it starts with spreading truth, and  being open minded..it starts with being selective with what you choose to believe. Do not believe everything you read or hear as truth, do your own research...look deeper than what you see on the surface...do not be so easily swayed and manipulated into building walls and creating boundaries based in fear and hate...do not be so easily manipulated into hating your fellow men and women....use your mind and your heart, together...

Buried Under the Dirt - Let it Shine Again

Lately, I have been living through a sort of dark and cloudy existence. From one day to the next, it’s a blurry and chaotic mess. This time last year, I was starting a new life with the most amazing soul that I have ever known. This time last year, there were no dark clouds, and I was filled and surrounded with light.

I realize that this person entered my life at a time where I was completely happy with myself, in love with who I was becoming and where I was going. By being me, through meditation and self reflection, I attracted the woman of my dreams, the woman from my past lives, into my now living and waking life. She called on me, and I only heard her and called back because I was being the real me. This wonderful soul saw my light and added to it by shining her own. She shined with me, we shined together, but we never stole each other's lights, we only added. I started in that love with pure giving. I had no expectation of her, nothing was necessary, only that I give and continue loving myself and sharing and giving my love to her and with her. We flourished, we grew, love and happiness surrounded our beings and everyone that came into contact with us joined our bliss.

I use to read a lot about relationships and I use to give others advice on relationships. So many around me seemed lost in their own relationships, lost and unhappy. They were all looking for happiness in someone else, looking to fill a void with the presence and love of another person. I could clearly see the mistake in this behavior.

I witnessed the destruction of so many relationships because of that behavior. I was aware of the fact and the importance of being happy alone before being able to be happy in a relationship. I was aware and conscious that going into a relationship expecting to get something was a recipe for disaster. I was aware that you need to go into a relationship wanting only to give with no expectations.

With that said, just because I was aware, it did not mean that I knew how to put that information into practice. I was aware of how to create a genuine, loving, long lasting, REAL relationship, but I never actually had the experience since I never put this awareness to the test. Well, I can tell you that knowing these things and actually living by them are two very different things.

Long story short, I got sucked into the regular, typical, egotistical way of looking at a relationship once I actually decided to give my 100% to this wonderful soul who I now have the honor of calling my wife. I got sucked into my own delusions, my own insecurities, my fears, my selfishness. My mind took over without giving any way for my awareness to shine.

My awareness of what a real relationship consisted of got thrown out the window and buried under tons of egotistical dirt. There were many moments throughout where my awareness peaked through, gasping for air, and she noticed it. She pleaded with me to meditate again, to go back to myself, to pay attention to my self again, so that this awareness could dig itself out of the dirt and grime that it had gotten buried under.

I did not listen. I knew something was wrong, something was off, but I blamed our environment, I blamed the stresses and pressures of life, I blamed my past, I blamed my conditioning, I even got to the point where I was blaming my own mother...wherever I could point my finger I would, but I never thought to turn that finger on to me. I never actually took responsibility. Through all this, she stayed by my side, waiting patiently for me to rise again. She lashed out a few times, begging for me to wake up, to rise up, to go back to the man I used to be...and for a few days, maybe weeks, my ego would take a break, it would allow my light to shine again. Slowly but surely, the ego would get hungry, and we would be right back into that vicious cycle of expectation and fear. I projected so much on to her that she started to act differently towards me, and I could see her ego start to bury her light...vicious isn't it...like an extremely contagious disease.

It has taken many months of intense arguments. It has taken many moons of blame and finger pointing. It has taken threats and many hurtful words, for me to finally see what it is that I need to do, what I needed to do from the first day that I started to notice the burying of my light...I need to face it, it being myself..I never faced myself. I have made myself into a victim so that I have an excuse not to face myself. I finally understand the mirror and the purpose of the mirror in the spiritual world, back to self reflection.

I understand what my demons are; they are not demons at all, they are blessings, they are shadows only because I have cast them away into the darkness. Once I face myself, and bring the dirt into the light, the light will allow the dirt to flourish into a garden of love. I need to use the dirt as fertilizer, I need to water it and allow it to become part of the light. That is what I was doing wrong, and that is why my ego was taking over, I fed it what it needed the most....FEAR!! I will no longer feed it the fear that it strives and grows off of. My work now is on myself, on loving myself again, on paying attenton to my own needs again, so that I can give myself, my love, genuinely and totally to my soul mate, my twin flame, my love of all loves....and it will be a constant work, but I will no longer project, I will remember what I learned before I came into union with my Goddess. I will once again give, without expectation, I will love without needing it back…I will finally allow my light to outshine, piercing through any darkness...

Let me meditate, let me be….

With Love,

SS

PS. I used to love this song, kind of fitting, just popped in my head while writing this...enjoy :)

Are You Defined By Your Possessions - Drop the Illusions

What we are is not what we have been conditioned to become. When looking in the mirror, what we look at is what we want to see at that moment. There are moments of pure happiness, when everything we look at is beautiful and pure. there are also moments of deep sadness, when everything we look at is ugly and corrupt. The world that we see before us is what we think it is at a given moment, depending on how we see ourselves in that given moment. Creatures that do not see themselves and have no concept of I, always see the world in the same way, through the same energetic vibration. As humans, we see ourselves, we judge ourselves and we have the concept of I. I am beautiful, I am intelligent, I am strong, I am kind, I am forgiving, I am...the world is what you are vibrating at. I have accepted that what I see is what I am feeling at a given moment. I accept that I am ever changing and that my perception of the world changes with my perception of my self...

There are many who want to be things that they are not. There are many who want to be better, stronger, more intelligent, more beautiful, and they want the same for the world around them. The thing is, you are not always wanting the same things. What you want changes regularly, the intervals may be different, and there may be no pattern, but your wants are constantly changing. Your wants define how you see the world. Your wants root from how you feel about yourself at a given moment. What you want is based on what you think you are.

I dare to say that this behavior is not natural, it is not human nature, it is learned behavior, conditioned by society at a very early stage of our molding, conditioned out of fear, out of an atmosphere of constant threat. The key for me has been to accept this, and the more I remember to accept this, the more I become who I really am, the more the veil of this illusory society diminishes...Allow me to elaborate...

Think about a newborn baby. What does the baby want? The baby needs to be nurtured since survival is agreed to be a natural instinct. Does the baby know what it needs to be nurtured? Probably through intuition and instinct, the baby knows it wants milk because the baby needs it to survive and more importantly to grow. The baby probably knows it wants warmth and some type of shelter since the baby needs this also to survive and to feel comfortable. I would like to believe that the baby needs love and affection in order to grow healthily and survive as well. Past these needs, the baby does not have any specific wants. Then we grow to children, and depending on our upbringing, our specific wants begin to develop. These wants are based on what our parents and our society around us deem as valuable, or want worthy. In many cases, especially in western societies, the wants are based on what the children see on television and in the mass media. Children develop wants based on advertisements aimed at them. What is aimed at them is not typically anything that will actually help them in any type of spiritual growth. Everything that is aimed at them is very often based on materialism and empty value. Toy cars, toy guns, barbie dolls, and more recently, electronic gadgets. As the children grow into their adolescents, they start to want what is popular. Brand name clothing, shoes, accessories...material possessions that make us believe that we are worthy of attention and belonging.

So, all this to say, I believe that our wants are not based on anything naturally inherent in all humans. We bring our childish wants into our adulthood, and it usually translates into material possessions that are useless in the greater scheme of our evolution. Wanting that new sports car, and then obtaining it will not provide you with more insight into who you really are. Who you are is not based on what you possess. Even when it comes to physical traits, and personality traits. You are not what you have been conditioned to believe you are. Your identity is not your name, or your traits. The greatest challenge is to drop all conditioning so that you can clearly see who/what you really are. You will start to see what has been conditioned into you, and what is actually you. You will start to discover your creative talents, which I believe ARE naturally inherent. Your wants will coincide more with your needs, based on purity and love, less based on material possession that bring no real depth. Your view of the world will start to change, and the world will become a part of you, the needs of the planet become more visible and more obvious to you. Your purpose becomes visible and your goals start to set into motion. All that you are is what you have always been, before all the conditioning, before all the forced programming. Purity is reached, and you are once again free. You will see the world from moment to moment, ever changing, always depending on your discoveries of yourself. One can agree that we are constantly changing, well then, can one agree that our perception of everything is constantly changing as well? Think about it...the world is not what it seems, at least not permanently.....

To take these thoughts of mine a step further, I challenge you to think about whether or not our early conditioning is necessary or if it is avoidable? Can we change this for our children? Do we want our children to go through the same process? I for one feel that this is avoidable, that the programming and conditioning brought to us through media, advertisements, Hollywood, etc are not necessary and are sometimes deadly to the spirit and soul. Society tends to create dead people walking around wanting things that are empty, to fill an emptiness!? Sounds counter productive wouldn't you say??? Many people never get in touch with their creative abilities, their natural talents because they are completely sidetracked by all the false wants that are conditioned upon them...Of course there are many who are able to notice this, and then begin the purging process...but not all are so brave..everyone is where they are at a given moment depending on choice, free will...but has this society really given us much insight into our true potentials, do we actually use free will and choice purely? I feel that the early conditioning blocks many from purely using our gift of choice and free will...think about it...

With Peace and Blessings

Staring At Everything

I have stayed awake for countless hours, staring into nothing Wondering what awaits me when I sleep, staring into nothing
I have waited for so long for something to change, staring into nothing Hoping for secrets to be revealed, staring into nothing
I have seeked endlessly for meaning, staring into nothing.....
Then, I realized, that the nothing that I was staring at was everything
I was staring at the walls, the trees, the rivers, the mosques, churches, synagogues, the temples, the shadows, the dust, the pebbles, the birds, the stray cats, the homeless, the rich, the poor, the spiritual men, the wise women, the flowers, the clouds, the rain, the moon....I was staring at the sun...
Then, I realized, This whole time, I was staring at myself.... I am Everything...Everything is Me...
I looked at myself, and I saw everything that I was waiting for.
I realized dreams, I initiated change, I discovered secrets, I have given meaning to myself, I have learned, and taught, I have been shown the light, and have shone my own light...now, I no longer stare at nothing...Now, I Gaze...at Everything....

A Plead for Change

If you knew how the universe affected you on a constant basis, your awareness would expand a million fold. If you knew how your energy is affected by your thoughts, by other peoples thoughts, by the moon, the planets, the sun, the tides...you would never wonder why you are feeling a certain way. If you were aware of how much our culture affects you, our buildings, our subways, the food we eat, the entertainment we watch, you would understand why you do the things you do, feel the things you feel.....

I have recently, within the past few years, and more so within the past few months become aware of the effects of galactic events that cause changes not only in our psyche, but also in our physical bodies. The ancient civilizations were aware of these effects, and they were also aware of how to protect themselves and prepare themselves for these changes.

Change is neither positive nor negative. Change can be negative if we perceive it as such and it can be positive if we perceive it as such. When we accept change for just that, change, we then are equipped to handle change effectively, without stress or feelings of helplessness. This is our problem, we believe that we have control over everything, we stopped relying on our senses, and become completely dependent on our minds to tell us how to deal with change, whether it be the most minute change or a major shift.

Our sense are capable of dealing with change on a macro scale, but only if we allow our senses to deal with it, without letting our minds get in the way. We underestimate the power of our feelings, our intuition. We downplay the power and magnitude of our connection to all of creation. We have been conditioned to believe that our minds are separate from everything, that we as individuals feel things separately from everyone and everything else. We have been lead to believe that everything is coincidental, and things happen randomly. This is true to a certain extent, random events do exist, but out of the randomness comes a deep connection, out of the randomness comes a message of linkage to everything that occurs around us.

Change happens when the Gods and Goddesses, the Universal Consciousness, the Mind of the World, etc, decide that a shift needs to occur in order for evolution to continue, in order for our planet to move on to the next phase of creation. Creation never stops, its not as if the earth and all of her inhabitants were created billions of years ago and then it just stopped, it never stops...it continues and will continue...with or without us....the decision belongs to us for whether or not we want to be a part of this continuous adventure of evolving creation.

Our culture has entered a period where we perceive change, evolution and creation as something that has stopped, and in a way, we have stopped it, for ourselves. We stopped living with the earth the way our ancestors have lived, the way the indigenous cultures live. When we stopped living in conjunction with the universe, we stopped our evolution. We when disconnected from spirit, our evolution stopped. We started to invent tools, invent technology, this is not evolution at all...this is change that is not set forth by a shift in the cosmos, inventions that come from the human mind are merely a product of our man made society, not an evolution in consciousness.

Inventions are not bad, that is not what I am saying, there are many inventions that have brought much light onto this planet. What I am saying is that inventions have not propelled us further down the path of evolution, I could even argue that certain inventions have halted evolution. I wrote about this “de-evolution”, as I call it, in some of my other articles of reflection...

Some writers, philosophers, environmentalists, etc, have brought this to our attention, and have been for a few decades now. They have warned us that if we continue down this path of false perception, we will bring ourselves to extinction, some even say, we will bring the whole planet to extinction. Then you have some other thinkers who say that the end of the planet and our lives is inevitable, something that will naturally occur...this to me, is based on nonsense. The earth, and all of her inhabitants have survived many cataclysmic events, events that we deem as “apocalyptic”. The difference from then and now is the fact that we no longer live with the earth, we live against her. And yes, I say we including me...I am not a hunter-gatherer, I do not live as the indigenous tribes of Australia or Africa or South America live. I live the way you, who are reading this, lives.

The thing is this, I want to change, I do not want to continue living this way knowing that this way of life will bring about a total failure of our species and our planet. I cannot sleep at night peacefully knowing that the way i am living is bringing about extinctions of certain species and total collapses of major ecosystems. I cannot pretend that i am a being of Love and Light if I sit here and consume just as YOU do...

I write this as a plead, practically on my knees, asking you to research what I am saying to you. I am not an expert on the environment, on ecosystems or on anthropology, but the research i have done over the years (not purposely, material on this subject seems to just fall into my lap), has convinced me that we are not living according to the natural law that allows life to continue in peace. I am convinced that our society, our culture, our inventions, are bringing about a total destruction of our planet and our species.

I do not sit here writing this out of mere paranoia, or conspiracy, this is why I beg you to research..please...consider changing things with me...this needs to happen on a mass scale...i can go and live as a hunter gatherer if I learn the techniques that are needed to survive and if I re-learn what our ancestors knew about living in harmony with nature, i can leave this society, this culture...it would be difficult at first, and I may risk my life doing so, but it can be done....but there is one thing stopping me, and that is my love for humanity, my love for my brothers and sisters...I cannot abandon you...that is why I beg of you to reflect on what needs to be changed so that we can go back to living in harmony with all of creation....with the animals, with nature. Can we not be leaders of this world without being destructive? Can we not be self aware without wanting to rule everything, forcing everything to live the way we perceive as being right? I know its possible to live civilized without hurting the planet and its inhabitants...it has been done...long long ago....I beg you to consider my words, and to research how our culture, and our society is destroying this planet, and murdering so much of creation...
